HOLLYWOOD, Calif., May 30 -- Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer have announced the acquisition of the screen rights to Irwin Shaw's "Sons and Soldiers," recently seen at the Morosco Theatre in New York. Norman Reilly Raine will write the film adaptation and Everett Riskin will produce it.
